My daughter has just been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. It totally has caught us by surprise as she doesn’t fit any of the groups who would get this. She will be heading to a specialist soon. Please be in prayer for her.
Absolutely keeping her in prayer!
Will pray (might help if I understood what the disease is, sorry).
Your daughter is on my prayer list, gachristian.
Daphne, multiple myeloma is a type of bone cancer.
While I am writing here, I should mention that one of my wife’s sisters has just a few moments ago passed away due to cancer. Her name is Olivia, and we had been expecting the news for the past several weeks. Prayers for the repose of her soul would be appreciated.
Sorry to hear about your sister-in-law David. May she see the face of God and live! Praying for your daughter, gachristian. That kind of news just turns our world upside down. May God be very present in your lives at this time. (((hugs)))
Update on my daughter. She has a PT scan last week. The doctor called and she is having a biopsy of her lymph nodes. Continued prayers please.
Taking her to Adoration this afternoon.
Thank you Estelle! They cancelled the needle biopsy and going to do surgery tomorrow. My daughter is obviously stressed.
Still praying. Be at peace.
I will add my prayers to the others, gachristian.
My wife’s sister Olivia, whom I mentioned above as having passed away back in May, had indeed suffered cardiac arrest, and her daughter, who was present, presumed it was all over, so she spread the word. A short time later, the medics managed to revive her.
She was still alive a week later, when they ran another test and discovered that the cancer was going into remission. Over the following weeks, there was indeed a complete remission, and my sister-in-law is alive and well today. The day before yesterday, we received some recent photos showing her walking around in a shopping mall, apparently quite well. Word today is that the doctors have removed the cancer medications from her regimen. I attribute her recovery to the mercy of God; thanks to all who prayed for her.
May your daughter, gachristian, receive the same treatment from the prayer warriors here and from our Lord, who is kind and forgiving to all who are willing to come to Him.
Praying that all goes well in the surgery and that God’s healing would be upon her.
